  I LOVE Steak N Shake! My family goes all of the time and we never have a problem. It gets pretty busy around dinner, so avoid dinner times if you're in a hurry. Everything I've ever gotten there was delicious. The chicken strips are kind of a rip off because you only get 3 small strips, but I've loved everything else I've ever eaten there. The sliders are definitely my favorite and the fresh banana smoothie is to die for!!! I love their thin shoelace fries too! Our waitress was wonderful and the service has always been fantastic.

  Went in and stood there for 20 minutes and no one even acknowledge me, my wife and our son. It wasn't even busy at all! We said screw this left and went through drive thru. Got to drive thru and waited for 10 minutes for someone to even acknowledge we were there. Finally we ordered and the food wasn't even hot and the food wasn't even good. 1st time visiting this place and we were VERY disappointed!

  For a first time eating here I wasn't impressed. We came and we're seated. We ordered our food and it was served in a timely manner. Our waitress very seldom came to refill our drinks and spilt mine. She said she would get me another but never did. The food wasn't worth what the price. The meat was the super thin, and the fries were shoe strings. Well when our waitress finally comes around, we order our shakes, by this point we can tell she was probably "messed up." We ordered and waited...and waited...and waited for at least 45 minutes. Our waitress's excuse was someone dropped them and they had to remake them which we knew was was a lie because we seen two other families walk in after us, be served their food and shakes and left way before ours even came too us so we knew that she forgot to post it because it dosent take that long to make a few shakes, essentially when the place isn't that busy. She received no tip. Will not go back. If I ever decide to try steak n shake again, it will be at a diffrent location. Do not go here

  I'd like to start by saying I love Steak and Shake, but the biggest problem this place has is consistency. The food ranges from pretty good to really good depending on who's cooking.
  The service ranges from terrible to ok, again depending on who your server is. Recently there has been a new server named Robin (I think) and I really like her, she is the best server at this particular steak and shake.
  I know all this going in so am ready for it when I go. My biggest gripe is the lack of cleanliness, which is why despite being really good and very affordable I could never give this place 5 stars.
